“ I go to Josephine's once a year so it feels like a special occasion. I love the ham special sandwich and lobster bisque, although I always wish it came with chips or something, too. They usually have huge portions, but this year's visit my sandwich seemed small. The rest of my party had salads which were all enormous, even the half portions. The real showstopper is the dessert menu, which is so big (and varied) that it's not on the printed menu. Your server actually brings a tray out with "fake" versions, plus a list of at least a dozen more things. Pies, cheesecakes, puddings, and more. This time I got crème brûlée. The flavor was good but soooo sweet. Unfortunately it didn't really have that hard, crackable sugar coating that it's supposed to have. They also seem to use cool whip over whipped cream, which is not my preference. Service is always lovely, you can tell the servers run a tight ship. Dining in can be pretty loud just because it's always busy, but once you settle in you can tune it out pretty easily. Also, for a tea room, they really lack tea, so keep that in mind. ”
“ Everything was great, but the soups were on the watery said could be a little thicker ”
“ Great service from the host and our waitress, good for lunch with soups, salad, desserts and tea. Good atmosphere for a tea spot and you can shop for jewelry and clothing. ”
“ Our waitress was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable about the specials for the day. The food was amazing. The dessert was delicious. The only downfall, there was no coffee or hot tea served due to construction on the kitchen floor. The Creme Brûlée and Caramel-Pecan Cheesecake was delectable. This is a great place for friends to come together for lunch. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is welcoming. ”
“ Nice place but LOUD! We were there on Saturday for lunch. Hard to have a conversation with your tablemates. Some sound-absorbing materials need to be added. Food was delicious. ”
“ I love this place. It's a cute lunch place with light delicious meals and friendly staff. The restaurant itself is what makes it unique. Great place to take your daughter, mother or having a girls day. ”
“ Brunch day for girls day. I made a reservation and it went smoothly considering this place fills up fast. Upon walking in clean and spacious. Beth was our server. Very friendly, helpful and checked on us constantly. Parking is plentiful. Campus is clean and beautiful for picture taking moments. We ordered Cobb salad, Caesar salad, roast beef sandwich, broccoli and cheese soup , brownie cheesecake and coconut pie. For drink Tipsy Mrs Palmer. Everything ordered was delicious. Cooked fresh to order. Portion size was great, and prices were reasonable. Shopping at the boutique was overpriced. Nice items and inventory flavorful and eccentric. Plenty colors and designs. I enjoyed my time here for sure. ”
“ Josephine's is always a favorite. I've visited several times before with my mother when we simply want to have a nice, slow paced, yet appetizing lunch. The service is always great, atmosphere is always pleasurable, and the shops are always a fun touch. My favorite go to food items are always the chicken salad sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. Unfortunately, the chicken salad sandwich is no long on a croissant bun, but still good. ”
